What to do now
With water damage, time matters. If moisture stays in walls and floors, mould can start to grow within 24 to 48 hours. And in the thick stone walls of many fincas, water lingers for a particularly long time.
- Turn off the water – close the main stopcock if water is still running.
- Check the electrics – switch off affected circuits if water has reached sockets or cables.
- Take photos – of the damage and the cause, before anything is cleared away. Your insurer will need them.
- Notify your insurer – as soon as possible; the deadlines are in your policy.
- Book the drying – send us the photos on WhatsApp and you'll get a fixed price.
Not on the island? It's enough for your property manager or a neighbour to take the photos and give us the keys. We take care of the rest.
How we dry
We use professional Trotec dehumidifiers – depending on the area, the TTK 105 S, TTK 170 ECO or TTK 570 ECO. With a condensate pump, the water drains straight away, so the unit can run unattended for weeks. Heaters speed up drying, especially in the cooler winter months.
- Day 1: delivery, set-up, first readings at fixed measuring points
- Every week: on-site check, readings, photos on WhatsApp
- At the end: final readings, collection, cleaning, report by email

Moisture report for your insurer
Many insurers want to see that the drying was done properly. Our report includes the measuring points with a floor-plan sketch, all readings with date and photo, the units used and their running times, and confirmation that the rooms are dry – in Spanish and German.
Prices
For owners who aren't on the island we recommend the Water damage complete package: from €249 per week plus a one-off €349 for set-up, insurance report and final cleaning. Delivery and collection are included. All prices exclude 21 % IVA (Spanish VAT).

Frequently asked questions
Will you come if I'm not in Mallorca?
Yes, that is exactly what the "Water damage complete" package is for. We get the keys from you, your property manager or a neighbour.
Do you find the leak as well?
Leak detection and the pipe repair are done by a plumber. On request we put you in touch with one and coordinate the drying with them.
What happens after the drying?
Once the target readings are reached, we collect the units, clean up and send you the report. For painting or tiling afterwards we can recommend trades.
